Strategic UX and web development for a local health practice
A health practice with no website became one patients can find, trust, and book — strategy, design, launch, and the technical plumbing.

Kahle Nutrition & Chiropractic needed a modern, mobile-friendly website to establish their online presence and make it easier for patients to schedule appointments and learn about services. I led the website strategy, design, and launch — a complete digital presence that elevated their brand and streamlined their operations.
The challenge
Like many local businesses, Kahle Nutrition & Chiropractic had no existing website — making it hard for potential patients to find information, learn about services, or get in touch. They needed a professional, mobile-friendly presence that reflected their brand and supported operations from day one. Behind the scenes, email setup and domain management needed fixing too.
My role and approach
Discovery and strategy. A detailed consultation on business needs, patient demographics, and operational challenges, plus competitive analysis of local chiropractic and wellness sites — most lacked mobile optimization, clear service hierarchies, and workable booking flows.
Mobile-first UX design. A clean, fully responsive site built around fast scheduling from a phone. "Book an appointment" and "learn about services" are the two paths that matter; everything else stays out of their way.
CMS for long-term control. A content management system the client could run without a developer — hours, services, and content updatable by a lean team.
Branding and visual design. A cohesive identity conveying trust, wellness, and professionalism — the in-person experience translated to a digital one.
Technical setup and support. Domain consolidation, DNS configuration, and email migration to Microsoft Outlook, with hands-on support after launch.
What changed
- A mobile-first website launched, optimized for SEO, speed, and patient conversion
- An intuitive booking experience patients can complete from a phone
- The client manages the site independently through a simple CMS
- Backend issues resolved — domains consolidated, business email working

What this project proves
Small-business work is enterprise work at a different scale: the same discovery, the same information architecture, the same insistence that the technical plumbing actually function. A health practice with no web presence became one patients can find, trust, and book — and the owners never need a developer to keep it that way.
